What it is
The free assessment is a 60-minute partial CSSE 11+ maths diagnostic. It is marked automatically the moment it is finished, with a topic-by-topic breakdown.
Sitting it
- Find a quiet 60 minutes and a pencil and paper for working out.
- Your child answers on screen; the timer is shown at the top.
- When time runs out, or they submit, the paper is marked straight away.
Reading the results
The results page shows:
- An overall score for the paper.
- A topic breakdown — each topic's score, so you can see strengths and gaps at a glance.
- A downloadable report you can keep or share.
The weakest topics are the ones to target first. If you have a parent account linked to your child, those results also feed into Practice, which uses them to choose questions on the weak areas.
The full diagnostic
