Mock exams and scores

Full, half and custom mock papers, timings and how scores are shown.

For parents & children

Types of mock exam

Full mock — 60 questions in 60 minutes, the real CSSE timing.
Half mock — 30 questions in 30 minutes, one minute per question.
Custom mock — choose the topics and length yourself.

A grown-up sets a mock from Set Mock Test; it then appears in the child's tasks.

Sitting a mock

Use a quiet room and have paper ready for working out.
The timer runs from the moment the mock starts.

Scores

When the mock is submitted it is marked straight away. The results show the overall score, how each topic went and every question with its worked answer.

Grown-ups can follow scores over time in Parent View, which shows trends and the weakest topics across all the work your child has done.
