Getting started and linking your child

Create your account, add your child and give them their own login.

For parents

1. Create your parent account

Sign up with your email address. Your account is the grown-up side of MathsEleven: it is where you set work, see results and manage your plan.

2. Add your child

Open Parent Home and start Quick Setup. It walks you through the essentials:

  • Child's details — name, year group, date of birth and target schools.
  • Create a child login — choose a username and a 4-digit PIN so your child can sign in on their own.
  • Standardised chart setup — choose a target school and catchment status, so scores can be compared with what that school needs.

You can come back to Quick Setup at any time; each step is ticked off as you finish it.

3. Your child signs in

Your child goes to Sign in, chooses the child option and types the username and PIN you created. They land on their own home page, which shows only their tasks and activities — never prices or account settings.

You can change the PIN or switch a login off from Child logins on Parent Home.

4. Set the first piece of work

A good first step is a diagnostic, so you can see where your child stands. Then set practice on the weakest topics. See the other guides on this page for each tool.
